Jason's love for riding started at an early age in Lakefield, Ontario, riding a BMX. In his teens, he and his family moved to Kelowna, BC. There, he fell in love with mountain biking and renewed his thirst for the freedom and adventure that two wheels (regardless of the bike type) could provide. He also found that competitive cycling was a tremendous personal outlet, providing opportunities to be humbled regularly, to expand his knowledge of himself, of human physiology and an opportunity to explore the art of riding. As a result, he has acquired a range of riding and competitive experience - from BMX, road racing(from crits to Randonnee's), Cyclo-cross and Mountain Biking in all of its shapes and iterations (including slopestyle, 4x, XCO, ultra-XC, DH, Enduro).

Jason's racing experience includes:

Mountain Bike - BC Enduro Series(2014 Masters Champ), NSMB Fivers, MarathonXC (JABR, Ore Crusher, Test of Metal-PB 3:21, High Cascade 100mi, BCBikeRace, SunshineCoaster), Slopestyle, Dirty Duo, BC Cup and Canada Cup DH and XC, North Shore Rippers.

CycloCross(CX) - VCXC and Lowermainland CX series.

Road Bike - Fondos (Whistler-PB 3:51), EV Spring Series(Road), EV Tuesday Night World Champs (Crits), Randonnee (200k+).

BMX - 2022 & 2023 #1 Provincial Plate for BMX Racing in his Age Group/Proficiency (USABMX/BMXCANADA). Multiple flatland and street events in the first wave of BMX(pre '88).

Coaching/Skill Building - NCCP Club Coach (MTB/BMX/Road) and PMBI 1 (Pedalheads, Escape Adventures, Endless Biking), Trail Building, Guiding (Kona-Bhutan). BMX Summer Camps 2023-2024, BMX Hi-Per (High-Performance) Coaching Sessions 2023.
